Crafting an energetic, versatile language

Brand identity for Art on a Postcard, the charity fundraising arm to The Hepatitis C Trust. 

  • Art on a Postcard is the fundraising arm for The Hepatitis C Trust UK. It's most popular events are the 'secret auctions', where world renowned artists contribute a postcard-sized piece of work to be sold anonymously.

    I was the lead designer tasked to re-design and systemise their brand identity system in 2017/18, including a new logo, colors, typography, print material and web applications.

  • The logo design concept started from the old mark which was based on a circular postal stamp design, drawing from the behaviour of ‘sending a postcard’ in the mail. In the simplified re-design I proposed a filled circular form to represent the letter ‘C’ to better connote the connection between The Hepatitis C Trust and Art on a Postcard.
