Using paper to communicate complex systems

IDEO Tokyo x leading transportation company in Japan

  • How might a high-level CX strategic recommendation be more memorable, exciting and beautiful? What if we can distill complex ideas into simple shapes, colours and compositions that have space to evolve and develop over time? As graphic designers, it's easy to fall back into the same tried and tested methods of communication, particularly in the corporate design world. For this project, I wanted to explore the potential of graphic expression leaving it's usual position behind icons and powerpoint presentations, and instead boldly jump into the tangible world for greater impact and memorability.

Creation, art direction & photography of a set of paper sculptures used for an internal strategy communication project.
    Full project is confidential.
